The true horror of existence is not the fear of death but the fear of life.
The true horror of existence is not the fear of death but the fear of life.
Who fears Life? Not You. But your mind.
The mind makes you wake up each day, making you feel it's the same struggles, disappointments, and pain.
True. They are the same life situations.
But every ordinary moment is extraordinary and divine if you live in the present and act from the abundance of your being.
When you think all the time, you get lost in your dysfunctional mind. You lose touch with reality and live in a world of illusions. You feel like a separate helpless fragment suspended alone in the universe.
Hence, you live in the fear that nothing will ever change, that you are trapped in a cycle of suffering that you cannot escape. And in that fear, there is a desperation, a longing for something fulfilling.
You Long for anything that breaks this lifeless routine and brings meaning to the endless repetition of mundane existence.
So, what does your mind do to cope with this desperation? It goes out in search of excitement to fill the hollowness.
When the mind goes outward, it becomes the Ego, identifying itself with a thousand things of the world. And again, your awareness gets lost in the world. The divine gets converted into materialism. And you feel miserable.
So, what is the way out of your mind’s compulsive thinking?
Here’s the ultimate way to transcend the fear of living your life….
The Way Out of Your Mind’s Compulsive Thinking
The ultimate desire of your Mind or Ego is the disguised desire to realize
God - that is the ultimate satisfaction and fulfillment.
The Ego is the unconscious and unobserved mind that identifies with thought forms and material forms and tries to find God in thoughts and worldly things.
The Ego wants to realize the source of all life, which is the Inner Being, but it mistakenly goes outward to realize it.
Once the mind turns inward, it finds its beloved and merges with the Being. Then, the mind rests into Being and realizes God. When your mind goes outward, it becomes the Ego and a thousand things of the world.
Remember, You are not a person with a mind-body. You are the awareness that occupies that mind-body for a relatively very short period of time. Since you are awareness, there is no need to attain or cultivate it.
All you have to do is to give up being aware of Non-Being. Non-Being are worldly things and situations. If one gives up awareness of them, then pure awareness alone remains, which is the God itself.
Keep your attention inward and rest your mind in Being. Then, that silent power called God will take care of everything in your outside world. Your mind-body instrument will be used by inner divinity to manifest its purpose in the world.
Jesus taught this by saying, “Realize the Kingdom of Heaven within you, and everything is added to you.”
Realize your inner stillness and know that you are God.
Rest your mind in inner Being my friend.
Rest in Being.
Amazing and profound. So helpful for me ❤️. Thank you.
Nicely put. I had a realisation some time ago that ego was the cause of all suffering. I had read the words but had a moment where I actually felt and understood it completely. Every time since, when I've found my thoughts leading me towards suffering, I stop and ask myself is it 'me' thinking these thoughts, or is it coming from ego. Every time I realise its ego and I realise I don't need to attach myself to these thoughts. This has helped me a great deal in recent times.
