At every moment, we either resist life or move in harmony with it. When we feel stuck, when life seems to push back at us, it is often because we are resisting—struggling, grasping, and insisting that reality conforms to our will.
Resistance..
Resistance is the mind’s way of navigating life. It is like a man setting out to explore the vastness of the ocean in a motorboat. He may have advanced technology, a powerful engine, and the illusion of control, but his journey is constrained by the amount of fuel (mind’s will) he carries. His movement is dependent on a continuous expenditure of energy, and every mile forward depletes his resources.
This is how most people live—pushing, striving, exhausting themselves. Resistance is rooted in struggle, in opposition to the natural current of life. It believes that progress comes only through effort and that surrender is a weakness. But resistance is suffering.
Presence
Presence is effortless; it is your real essence.
It is like a woman exploring the same vast ocean in a sailboat. She does not fight against the wind; she becomes one with it. She does not demand that the currents change for her; she allows them to carry her. Presence is working with the flow of life.
True presence is not about control but about inner surrender. It is the deep knowing that life unfolds with intelligence far beyond the mind's will. You cannot force the wind to blow, but raise your sails and be ready. You cannot dictate the waves, but you can navigate them with grace.
The mind resists; the heart allows. And life moves through you—not because you are doing, but because you are Being.
